Cittaslow Taiwan Alliance Sponsorship Member Enrollment Application Procedure

Membership Qualifications

• Any public or private organizations, groups, or individuals who agree with the objectives of the association may apply to become sponsor members.
• Sponsor members are of a supportive nature and do not have the rights to vote, elect, be elected, or be removed as stipulated in Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the organization’s constitution.

• Sponsor members are exempt from the membership fee. The annual fee should be paid in full upon joining, and thereafter, the annual fee must be renewed each year to maintain the sponsor membership status.

• Sponsor members who wish to apply for “Friends of Cittaslow” must submit the application at the time of joining. The Cittaslow Taiwan Alliance will assist in submitting the application for “Friends of Cittaslow.” The annual fee should be paid in full upon joining, and thereafter, the annual fee must be renewed each year to maintain both the sponsor membership and “Friends of Cittaslow” status.

• “Friends of Cittaslow” may use the specific logo approved by the Cittaslow International regulations in their materials (such as brochures, folders, promotional flyers, digital communication tools, websites, etc.) and indicate the title “Friends of Cittaslow.” However, the Cittaslow trademark must not be directly placed on consumer products.

Application Process

• Registration by Communication

  • Data Entry: Members should fill out the membership application form according to their application needs.

  • Payment of Membership Fees: After approval by the board meeting, the applicant will be notified to submit the payment.

  • Application Submission: Please send the “Membership Application Form” to “Cittaslow Taiwan Alliance, No. 30, Fuxing Road, Sanyi Township, Miaoli County” (please include a return envelope).

Review process

1. Submit the application materials by postal mail to Cittaslow Taiwan Alliance.
2. The application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and Supervisors.
3. The alliance will notify the applicant to pay the annual membership fee.
4. Please provide the payment receipt via email.
5. The alliance will confirm the payment and then officially send the receipt and membership certificate.
